Dexter breaks Showtime record!

Maybe this is old news for some, but this is actually really good news for all of us Dexter fans. Episode 8 of Dexter has now broken the record of the most-watched episode ever for a Showtime series.
This is what Hollywood Reporter says about it:
“This marks the most-watched episode ever for a Showtime series, with the 1.23 million single-airing haul surpassing the previous record of “Soul Food,” which drew 1.21 million in 2004. “
Good news for all of us. The popularity of Dexter increases and with this popularity we will probably see more seasons of Dexter in the future. Nice!
